I think the disclosure of a first name is disclosing a little bit more information than the mention of a simple telephone call.

So having a first name and it being known is giving all details away We'll have to disagree on that one then

As you do not wish such classified information disclosed then i couldnt possibly reveal on here or by pm any further details.

Whats the point taking the pish? Especially a "noob" with so few posts, wouldn't you like to intergrate on here, or simply join the world famous bandwagon??

As you know the person involved rather than attempt to defend the indefensible why not have a word in his shell like and advise him and the rest of his supporters to roll over and acknowledge defeat.

Just because I know him, certainly doesn't mean I'm in contact with him, or indeed like him. As a comparison, I know lots of folk on here and dislike plenty. It's not my responsibility to be pm'ing people telling them they have failed in whatever they have attempted. I was merely putting across a slightly differing point to the majority (including your good self) on here. Thats how it's gonna stay. End of.

what a great read, think the man in question has been caught out, and as said before his dissappearnce speaks volumes.

on a brighter note, great cctv pics, its been so long since ive been to the clinic id forgotten what it looked like. had a engine rebuild and remap done there 2 years ago, going strong ever since, hence no return trip.

might be going some time this year, rusty rear arches need sorting.

I think Kev is just pointing out its no point us all discussing what this whole topic is about and going on about who is right, who is wrong etc. For a user that rings up to say "Go f*ck yourselves" and then hung up - well to be honest I dont know what to say. Pretty pointless phone call. As you can see Scoobyclinic are really cut up by this phone call.................

User must feel so much better by ringing up Scoobyclinic to let them know this though?!

The O.P is a bulls***ing tw*t, think we've all come to that conclusion.

Scoobyclinic haven't come out of this totally unscathed either. They should have locked this thread after the cctv pics were posted, they did not need to comment anymore after those. The guys are rightly p**sed off but leaving the shop unattended with customers in is UNPROFFSIONAL, just because of their reputation doesn't mean they should feel they have the right to make people wait. Out of all the threads i've read about scoobyclinic in the almost two years i've been on here i don't think i've read one about poor workmanship! thats not in question, usually its customer service thats the issue.

IMHO

It was the office that was unattended which has nothing of value in it, there is always someone near by the workshop & the goodies shop is next to where they have lunch, there is cctv inside & outside workshops in goodies shop and they all work 24/7
At the end of the this guy did not wait, he just came in, went, lied, slagged off & vanished and if clinic didnt defend them selfs everyone would of believed this nut and gave clinic a slagging also, no company wants that sort of crap in this current financial climate.
If they didnt defend them selfs i bet this guy would be on here now adding fuel to the fire BUT WHERE IS HE NOW BUSTED

Agreed.

The OP obviously only has a maximum of two brain cells that arc across at very infrequent intervals.

The two he does have have now malfunctioned. Hence the silence.

My last post may have been unprofessional according to CHOCOLATE O BRIANS principles.

He said the mention of a received nuisance call was unprofessional.

But then himself disclosed the name of the OP.

Which was hardly professional.

So what the hell not a problem according to his practice.

This is dragging on a bit and doesn't appear to be going anywhere, but I'm reluctant to lock it without formally inviting the OP to give a response

So, I have contacted the OP to ask for an explanation/public apology (whatever is applicable) as a matter of urgency i.e. the next time they are on SN. For the sake of their own reputation as much as anything else.

We don't have a problem with people reporting negative experiences with trader's; positive feedback is only meaningful if given in an environment where people are at liberty to also criticise, but individuals MUST be honest in their accounts and not misrepresent experiences to make a company look bad!

If a response is not forthcoming, the thread will be locked and the OP's reputation will be justifiably tarnished.

Omg look at that awsome wagon!!!! tis mine

I had been there 4 hours having a clutch fitted and the mechanic got it all finnished before dinner (many thanks top notch job) then dinner arrived and i didnt mind waiting around an extra 15 mins while the lads had there dinner before making out my bill.I saw the guy arrive and leave within 5 mins.

Thanx again SC

steve
lol lol lol! i was there then collecting something for my Black bugeye STI. I saw your car while you was leaving Steve (looked great!). anyhow back to this topic I am so happy SC won this battle hands down & shuts up another person who probably has problems of his own & likes to make life hell for others & try to mess up businesses just coz he can't be bothered to wait or show courtesy to someone. Being a customer may make you right but does not give you the right to act like a lying fool & get away with it.

1) Can't remember who it on this thread thou...someone mentioned the 3/4 mins might be that person turning there car around? - makes me My Nan with no licence could turn my car around quicker on a two pence piece & if she couldn't & needed that long to do so i'm sure she would have waited for when its her turn to be seen to collect or get what she was after for.

2) I'm sure the Clinic having video evidence wouldn't post up them just turning there car around

3) The person claimed they waited over 30mins to be seen - if it was me & i saw that i was defo going to be seen i would wait a little bit longer if need be seeing that i will get what i need there & then! & not have to wait a lot longer (say a few days) for your part to be ordered then delivered.. like other places do etc..

4) In terms of jobs i personally have tried many different kinds working with the public etc.. sometimes i can't have a lunch running about like a nut on the shop floor or have a nice office job where i can take a full hrs lunch & not worry about work/customers etc. In this case Scooby Clinic catched a person lying through their teeth & i believe Adam 100% that if he said he will be with you as soon as he can i'm sure he would. I'm sure if i was on lunch i wouldn't want to see a customer net alone deal with them.. maybe this problem can be solved with an answer machine? so people can leave there messages on & i'm sure they will be in contact with you.

5) That day i turned up i phoned before making the 45mins journey to S/C & i was seen as soon as possible & my business was sorted in 3mins from Kev/Adam as i contacted them before arriving (booked in basically) as they are really busy & sure that if you was to do this for making an appointment like you do for the Doc's - you get seen when its your turn

6) I don't know why people keep on doing this slaggin off on the net trying to bring good companies down? If i personally don't like a service (which i get a lot of from many different Co.s/businesses i meet i certainly don't sit at a pc rambling on about it - i do one better & speak to the boss or who's in charge of the Corp.. If my things are not sorted then i'm sure that person doing the wrong gets a boll0kin from his manager then getting a sod all back from the net.

finally S/C you have treated me well & professionally each time i have come to you (didn't get a brew or chip butty?) but if i wanted them things i'd go up the road for them but my car is defo coming to you guys time & time again in the future
keep up the great work Kev, Adam & crew.

I have made some input into this matter.

What you say is excellent unbiased and responsible.

I think Scoobyclinic will actually benefit from this debacle and so they should.
