I know that the group buy from Peter Lloyd (refered to in this post) went a bit wonky. But someone in that thread did find this one below. Is it any good? If so Im gona get it ordered.

2 litre foam fire extinguisher - 2 ltr AFFF fire extinguishers
They are good extinguishers, if a touch on the larger side, but better safe than sorry.

I still want another one as the second one I ordered never materialised

Thats fookin massive!!! But I suppose its not much use less than 2ltrs really. Would it fit in a stealthier place e.g. at end of passenger footwell or in rear footwell? Or what about below rear bench seat?

Right, I want this one below: 1kg powder ABC rated; with a bracket included & with gauge.
KIDDE MULTIPURPOSE FIRE EXTINGUISHER 1KG A-B-C POWDER on eBay, also, Accessories, Campers, Caravans Motorhomes, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 06-Apr-09 23:05:00 BST)

But I would prefer if I could get a longer slimmer shape (like in pic below) than the fat oval shape of one above!! Any ideas?? (The one below is ok but not A rated & is not as good as Kidde one above)
CARAVAN CAMPER FIRE EXTINGUISHER 950g DRY POWDER on eBay, also, Accessories, Campers, Caravans Motorhomes, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 03-Apr-09 16:23:17 BST)

For the sake of a more flush fit I may just end up getting the slimmer one in 2nd pic.

Someone on here was making them up about a year ago. I did think about making my own, but the time involved in doing it was more than the tenner it cost.

If anyone knows a metal shop I will happily loan mine out as a template

Not sure I'll have to ask him for you.

He does do more heavy duty stuff, gates, panels, he might not have a machine small enough, If he cant do it I'm sure he'll be able to point me in direction.

Can you take a pic of the bracket for me?

I thought Id post up my efforts & redeem my reputation from mechanicaly imcompetent!! Who needs welders & templates, just a bit of time & effort!!
It took 2 blemin hours as 1 hour was wasted taking off the paint which wasnt sticking as I didnt prep it proper first. Also my Bosch drill packed right near the end & had to get my old mans drill out which he's had since 1978 & was pretty feeble to say the least Just needs a bit of primer & black paint now after Iv scored the surfaces properly this time.
