Just in the nick of time........... We went in and said we needed to change the way we were going to fund the order as we had unforeseen problems.
We changed to a buy now pay later deal. Before picking this option I spoke to the company that provides the finance the new deal is...
If we dont get a sofa the warranty kicks in and we get a new one, same value.
Close call though. Who would believe it, A sales man fibbed to me!!!!!

you people talk absoloute bollocks, i have worked for land of leather for 5 years years and the only reason people shop with us is because we are CHEAP!!! dont you understand that you get what you pay for???? land of leather are nothing to do with world of leather who were owned by uno, the only similarity is the word 'leather' in the name.To be honest i hope the lot of you get screwed by lol as your crass and uneducated comments deserve no help/respect whatsoever. perhaps if you spoke to the staff in a civil matter you would get some help.

So because your stuff is cheap, it's OK to offer rubbish products and a rubbish service?
Hmmm, I can't think why they Land of Leather went bust.
Let's hope you are as helpful and positive in your next job.
Good news Tim by the way, glad they didn't screw you over!

Yeah, it was a close call. The staff in the Farnborough store were very helpful, and considering they have there jobs on the line the treated my case well.
I think the comments of Aztepol are either to try and get some angry reaction or to let us know how tough he is.
I hate to stoop this low but... You hope I get screwed buddy, well I might not get some sofas, you are losing your job....Now thats screwed.
He has certainly not introduced himself to the SN community in a positive way.
