thanks

did about 200miles in the car yesterday.. no rear seat and the noise from exhaust on boost is superb but motorway noise drowns out my stereo and on a longer journey I'd have a headache either from the road noise or the radio so loud to drone is out.. so I refitted the rear seat today

door bar is a nice location for leccy window switches as I removed them from the doors when I fitted the carbon door cards

also refitted rear view mirror although all I can see is cage and spoiler

Managed to plumb(?) the bosch 044 external pump and swirl pot fittings today except one pipe.. had enough of stabbing myself with the braided hose.. will take some pics when I install it. . I might trail fit and check it works before building mount for the pump etc..

I also cleared out the garage at home and got the engine I am stripping for the block onto engine stand ready for strip down.

I am considering fitting as much as I can to the car with the current engine in to get rid of any possible problems.. so may well rotate the md321t and do a before and after session on dyno to see effects.

That would be interesting, though I doubt it would make any difference...

The swirl pot and external pump have gone up the list of priorities as since the cage went in I am getting fuel cut on some of my favourite bends and roundabouts at half a tank and under of fuel..

so today I finished the braided lines and made my hands saw doing so..
I hate making braided lines.. this pic is not finsihed but you get the idea.
Pump is a bosch 044 and Sm Engineering swirl pot

Then installed but unfortunatly the pump seems to have failed (it is 2nd hand).. I have another somewhere... so currently feel I wasted my time and skin on my hands but hopefully find the other pump later.

I have also picked up the new uppipe and downpipe from Subaru4you..

Not sure how long the ceramic coating will stay white though

Very nice. Are you using a walbro as a feed pump?

I know what you mean with the braided hose, nasty stuff once youve cut it

Trick i have found is one wrap ONLY of decent masking tape, clamp hose in vice, then use thin cutting disc on angle grinder. Dead easy then.
