56B Subaru Paint Codes

currently cheesed off at not being able to drive it with interior out for cage fitment and not sure when I will have time to complete the cage install fully yet can find time to fit seats and dash etc.. so considering postponing the cage fitment.. as I w3ant to drive the damn car!

managed to get the momentem to actually work on it tonight.. damn cold and ice on the outside and inside of the car.. but front section of cage is now in and dash back where it should be and trimmed around cage etc..
I ended up removing a lot of trim that I hadn't intended removing.. but what the heck.. less weight

Hoping to get a bit of time on it tomorrow and refit the rear section of the cage as I removed it to give more space to fit the front and get the dash bolted in and seats back in etc.. think the battery has gone flat too so will charge that as I really want to drive the car tomorrow.

Undecided whether to refit carpet or not at the moment.. also whether to cut rear seat to go around cage or fit just a rear bulk head..
when swirl pot is running with external pump I intend fitting a bulk head either carbon or ally.. but whether with seat or not I am not sure.

will take some pictures in day light

Dont bother putting interior back in.

Saves time and lightweight

If it were me; I would remove all the sound deadening and insulating material from the moulded carpets and then put them back in. Then I would fit a solid bulkhead and then carpet it along with the rear bench

dash bolted back in, door cards back in.. centre consol back in along with stereo, boost controller, neetronics controller and all the other stuff you forget about just need to sweep and fit carpet and seats.. although still have the welding to do so might just fit one seat.. either going to borrow a welder in the week or just drop it at mates workshop and get him to do it.. lol

number of wires under the dash which either do nothing or I haven't traced them to see if they are actually needed.. I see a tidy up coming.

back together.. some more panels to remove and some to add back in but left at the workshop tonight to do welding tomorrow..

Had a fantastic drive in the car this evening.. bit lively in this weather

door bars are fairly easy to get in and out over

some paint touch up needed on the cage but will do that when I paint all the welded bits etc

sorry..

not touched it.. too cold.. need to sort the welding.. had planned to sort and change the front bumper Friday but the sister-in-law decided to have her baby so I looked after kids and wife was helping her sister etc..

Will be using it this week as clocking up too many miles on my evo..
so small jobs will get sorted and rest of interior stripped etc..

the donar engine has moved but I haven't stripped that either.. doh
