yes it is tempting to do that.. rotated exhaust setup is being ceramic coated at the moment.
I just picked up Ej22T block.. just came as a complete engine so I have that to strip before getting block off for machining etc..

you had to go one better with the door cards didnt you after i got mine flocked!! Now i want a set of the carbon/carbon look ones that you have maybe for the wide body then i have both
i love the reaction the colour gets too, i was hours from going Green, would have been a lot easier to spot in the McRae image from Prodrive McRae gathering (i got my print the other day )
Keep up the good work Simon, i'm amazed you have got time. I'm finding it cold working on the car at the moment, but i guess thats dedication.
PS> been there, done that, got royally pi$$ed off with the sound deadening material removal from the floor . Same approach though, Hammer, Chisel and some petrol to wipe off the residue.

I am actually in catch 22 at the minute.. I have some limited evening time.. but the wife and kids complain.. or I can take it to workshop and have full ramps etc and loads of tools to access but only have access then during working day.. when I am out mapping etc.. lol
I suspect the engine work will get done at home on the drive as usual..
I had no choice with the cage as I couldn't transport it to the workshop.. lol
I was going to leave the residue as intending fitting the carpet back in as it is suprizingly light.. but may wipe it off.. nice idea.. other option is carbon floor mats.. but think this will be nice to look at but pain to drive with..

I am cheating.. Subaru4You are now supplying rotated up and downpipes for standard flanges.. mine is being ceramic coated at the moment.

Yes cdb ej22t.
Lots but a lot of the engine bits it cam with will be useful and hope to sell the low miles 98 heads that cam with etc.
Yes some legacys.
This engine I know the history of and was built from a new ej22t short engine.

I am really not sure and if I get time am very tempted to try it on current engine at same boost level etc..
the advantage when I go to the new engine is I can run proper boost.. I just think I will break the 2.5 with more.

I had planned to spend the evening removing the dash and fitting the front section of the cage but the kids were late to bed and didn't go straight to sleep so that shot that idea in the foot as by the time they were asleep I couldn't be bothered to go out in the cold..
So I have just ordered fuel rails (Insulated Billet Aluminium Fuel Rails
Subaru Impreza MY92-00) from Carl Davey, specialist Subaru Impreza parts supply
I have also sorted inlet manifold - more when I get it.. but will allow me to run v6 heads in a v2 car with v2 inlet manifold etc..
both will be painted or powder coated

Looks good, Simon.
So much better that this POS in the same colour, that I had the misfortune to be stuck behind a while back;
Dash and door cards look cooler than a ****.

Have at least 1 customer interested in rotating his T, and I fancied rotating my T38 after trying it at 2 bar and sending it back for a BB upgrade.
