On my project build I have toyed with the idea of going to a 20g to replace my FE 16g. But in the end I'm gonna stick with the 16. If it makes 350 that's fine, in fact I'll be very pleased. Every mod is in place for it to be do-able once mapped. I am pretty sure that a 350bhp classic is gonna be fast enough for any kind of road driving.

Question 400bhp

assuming engine in good condition, is yours? take your engine to API and ask him to make it capable of running 400bhp and see if he tells you the engine is up to it or needs uprated internals and the like

i'd rather save my self the hassle as this is why i brought a 2.0 cdb capable of running 400 max !!! if i decided to do so . your missing the actuall point of this thread it's about the best supporting turbo not the block ! .start a thread asking how many people who are running close or on 400 with std internals and you ill be suprised how many there is .

post 26 is where you made the comment about the engine capalbilities that is what i commented on,not the turbo. BTW nice smiley very smart

Did you look at the 18G in the link I posted previously. For £600 odd that would be ideal for what you want

As for the CDB engine,it's not the power it can handle that's the issue it's the boost. Andy Forrest,Paul from Zen and JGM all told me the CDB engine will run 1.8 bar max,but that's a max limit so you wouldn't want to run that. About 1.6 bar should be a safe limit

can't i run 1.75 pmsl lol , yea i did mate and its to much cash this side of christmas tbh was a 20G on ebay wanted 495 offered 400 but they said no. i have brought a vf35 though i think .

Why don't you just wait till after xmas then mate ? You'll never be happy with it otherwise.

What ECU are you going to go with and injectors,exhaust etc ??

your 550's as we said today mate , ill be getting an apexi power fc and ill be having ported and wrapped std headers and go from there mate .
