Got me there mate, took nearly a season ! Still you started with a proper ECU while I tried with an Apexi and MAFSIM So once Syvecs went in it was my second event after that was set up when I ran 10.55, but I did have 603 bhp at the time

Not in its current guise no. It needs cams, new wheels and some proper rubber on there but I'm certain its doable. But it's not a goal I currently have. My next target is 600bhp without swapping the cams. After that its going to be track based stuff.

Without doubt the 10 Daz has done in the car with no experience of drag racing is stunning ! For those thinking 9's is the next step then it's a massive jump, I have had 4 or 5 events this year trying and am still not there, now take in to account I have lots more power and the car is probably 100kg lighter and I have had several 10.1 - 10.3 second runs. Still I will give it one last try this year at Shakey this weekend, the car is 40bhp up and 50kg lighter now so we will see

Now I have no idea how many Imprezas have run 9's in this country but it is not many and how many of those a privately built machines ?

I will say again a 10 is stunning and there is more to come from Daz's car but 9's is a whole different ball game.

Completely agree with that Clive, and a nine 1/4 mile run is not a target I have.

Such impressive performance Daz. Its all well and good doing a build with all the fancy parts etc. But the car proving itself is a very different game. Both the cars performance and yours as a driver has been very impressive especially these are basically shakedown runs.

My build sure looks pretty, but i hope it works as well as yours does.

well done

Pushed it for the first time for top speed yesterday.

This was at 7krpm and it was still climbing and still making power. I ran out of runway
This was a GPS reading too the speedo said 180

you want to watch out for the cops when doing that sort of speed down the A1.
