Inlet tract is huge, possibly a tad too big its gonna be a squeeze with the manifold bolted down anyhow.

Fuel fittings should be here by weekend so can concentrate on doing all my fuel rails + putting it all back on.

cheers dude, but theres still a waaaay to go yet

yeah its alright to say get it running but, if any problems come up il be delayed, i also need to send it to the paint shop on the back of a transporter, i also need to get an MOT on it, insure then tax also, then get it mapped up because iv changed EVERYTHING then i need a dyno run to see what its making and wether im on borrowed time or not?

the 318 also needs an MOT + tax this month...grrr! il probably sell that to fund the above.

Simtek. A One off. From what i understand, its effectivly a twin simtek with two ECU's installed onto one board, both with switchable maps. Anti Lag, Launch Control & a cool gizmo to get your car through DB testing @ tracks. Thank you Andyscoobym3 for a cracking deal + meeting us half way for it..proper sorted geezer.

gauges finished, soldered in properly.

before

after

Finally these came, been really looking forward to this. now i need a few more!

a bit of grinding required

add some of these

tad of measuring + screwing

plonk it all in for a quick test fit, adding a regulator along the way

And thats your lot before work, after having an empty bay for so long, this looks REALLY good

beef on the bone - cheers mate
trails - its tight in there with the 18g i must admit, the 90' fittings are v nearly touching compressor housing lol!

donny, the fuel rails are from harvey smith, i paid £100 for them but TBH i think theyre the same ones that you can get on ebay from japan for £20 less? they look identical. Injectors are scoobymania/area52 740cc's

I had to remove a little bit of the compressor housing to make it fit nicely

very nice work there mate got a question if you dont mind...

how are you joining the braided hoses to the standard fuel filter/system with the push fitting?
(hope that makes sense)

has can you use -an fittings one end and simply push fit the other??

Skullfudge - thank you sir

Undecided yet Dilbob, i have a push on fitting + hose finisher to connect it to the 'fuel in' or i may try a straight fitting to see if it works (doesnt leak) but i arnt sure wether im scrapping the stock filter yet, and running a braided line to where the gearbox 'pitch' mount is and putting a bullet filter in with a 90' fitting to the 6AN T piece. I literally bought a bunch of fittings and 2m of hose to 'map' everything out to start with.

Iv been painting brackets and resi tops today, may have an update 2mo with pics. Need to go purchae an engine stand to behin 'phase 2' haha

if you run a bullet filter, opt for the stainless filter rather than the paper one, as the paper one will clog up ultimately and cant easily be cleaned
