another non exciting update im afraid im loosing the will to keep this updated to be honest! im kinda liking my no-BS approach to the car now, so much so im even contemplating driving it multicoloured with big scratches down the side!? never going to be a show car is it
got a new job gonna be a unix system administrator, means more weekends off work and shorter days creating time to concentrate on other things! ie the car. so here we go.
took advantage of the weather at the weekend for a coupla hours and got the turbo all plumbed up, downpipe on, catch can fitted and some wiring done also. if we had coolant i think we could have fired it up to regulate the fuel pressure down for mapping! Also scrapped the AVCR in favour of a hybrid 3 port and gonna let the simtek do all the boost control work.
only a coupla pics
Bargain Knocklink, LED's are getting re-located to my A-pillar pod to keep an eye on things.
scraaaaping its way out cant wait to be able to switch bootlids between painted v6 and carbon
and just a coupla pics outside in the rays, i wont be winding the front down just yet but it does need doing.
Still exploring forged options and currently in talks with Nick Dixon @ MND Motorsport for mapping so yes, getting there i think?
