no big updates - just small jobs until the weekend. Harness bar looks wicked offered up today.

Ebay bargain yet again - 'lighter' washer bottle

Shiney shiney - stripped + cleaned TB...no more oily vapour for my inlet system thank you!

Iv done the TB coolant bypass mod...is there any reason i couldnt chop the barbs off the TB at all? nothings going through them anymore...

Spacers rigged up ready for inlet going back on

Loads room for porting?

front ARB all done as correct bushes finally arrived

all going well, suspension swap at weekend, mirrors re-drilled + fitted/bonded on. and do some gauge wiring in i think

trail fit, looks a bit intimidating to passengers i feel, despite the pics there is still a lot of room however...maaay be tempted to chop it down so it mounts further forward, will see when bottom supports are bolted in.

Common to belief, harness bars for GD 02-06 chassis imprezas fit classics too gotta be one of my fave mods...hmmm brides + takatas?

A closed deck short engine has now been purchsed to get things rolling with a big power forged build. Now focus will be to get everything fitted perfect, the car running, painted & mapped running safe-ish power on this gearbox, using as little funding as possible!

This weekend has been spent doing small jobs, of which i didnt quite know how much work would be involved!

Steering rack bushes - required the rack to come off as part of the old bush broke at the top of the rack. grr
Mirrors - redrilled/fitted with modded baseplats ready to be permanently fixed to the car.
Inside the roofliners been stripped for a re-trim, and the big wire in of guages started.

big thanks to andy-h for his help.

Great progress m8.

Before you try and cut the harness bar down, make sure you have enough room to move the drivers seat back.

Turbo's are now like buses...none for ages then two come at once l

I now have a td05 16g with less then 1k on it, and a brand spanking new Zage td05 18g

mwahahaha, lets blow **** up Write up:

The ZAGE SP5650 is a turbocharger suitable for SUBARU IMPREZA to make it as a wide variety of performance vehicle. This turbocharger will enlarge over 375HP on the base of 1 Bar. The newly designed nozzle area of turbine housing in 7cm² and 18G aluminum alloy compressor wheel delivers a superior turbine exhaust performance. SP5650 enhances a strong explosive force in low RPM and 7cm² housing with smaller A/R. ZAGE turbocharger can reduce turbo lag.

After speaking to the nice chap at elite transmissions @ TOTB today i know who il be getting to build be a straight cut box for my new build

Off to st' annes tommorow to pick up my 'new but old' Closed deck short motor

annodized fuel bits should be here this week

nice, a bit of extra displacement will help spool times and make more torque

have a read around about PPG boxes though, 450lbs\ft seems OK, but anything more than that and they seem to break...i'm only looking at a 6 speed for piece of mind, i've rather keep 5
