Cracked on today, mainly clearing garage out of more crap to make more room for a proper workbench for engine building
got the fuel rails mounted to the manifold with new fixings, went to put the new o-rings on and realised id forgot the vaseline! quick pic of rails mounted - injector caps magically turned day glo overnight so just need to fit them now. no pics though
got these off p20spd yesterday to mount to bulkhead fuel rails
this also, modded his twin bracked to fit where standard filter went for simplicity
would have cleaned the wax oil off but iv lost interest in being a tart now, it will get painted at some point anyway! function over form and all that..
Thought the filter looked lonely over there so trail fitted the catch can to keep it company, think it may stay!
bought some 15mm breather hose to let me engine breath, im remotely mounting VTA filters now so as not to get an oily smell in the cab! so they will go down near the road somewhere. Just needed to block one of the crank breather takes offs now but couldnt find a bolt or anything soooo..the next bit is a bit blue peter! lol
Out came a grinder
Take some agressive snips to your pepsi can to blank the hole you just exposed
Pour some fiberglass resin in a pot and add enough hardner to make it produce thermonuclear amounts of heat lol and cover your pepsi can cutout.
Allow it to set and hey presto
Chopped a bit of hose long enough to recirculate some pressure
Then had a fire and came home, a day well spent lol

nice one Jon, it's your fault I've decided to go braided and get a matching Fuellabs filter so you better make the pics good ones
when you do break it we can compare damage
