11.08 at 128 with me missing 2nd gear, twice! Also did 163mph. 163.4 top speed, but power being sapped due to Engine coolant temp climbing through the roof!

Sy, cheers for making my day a fun one You need to read your dash more often Awesome car
Yr welcome Steven, thanks for the help, one of my time slips shows 1.36 60ft but a 12.35 et. Not sure if i trust the writting on the card, although it could of been the run where 2nd was missed. Most of my runs were 1.5 60fts

Can I get all the data? Id also like to know what the times were for the points scorers so I can see how far off the mark I was.

It certainly squats and goes

Drop me a pm with your email address and i will forward you the full results that chris mann emailed me.

The 12.35 was your last run, 12.51 was my first where i abbandoned the run due to the ecu pulling power out for safety reasons due to the coolant temp.

Hamilton always wanted to race against Schumacher, will be interesting.

Many are saying MS at 40 yrs old wont be any good ... I think not.

Schumacher will always be good but it will be interesting to see how he gets on as they cannot do any testing (officially )

I think it will be a wake up call for Mr Kimi "fooking interesting" Raikkonen.

How that guy is worth $20M a year I will never know, although he must earn Ferrari some dollar as he does often have FTD.

Know one knows the exact prize monies in F1 although B.E. has commented that he pays $420M in prize money per season.

My guess would be something like this.

Winner of the championship ? $50M
2nd place $30M
3rd place $20M
4th place $15M
5th place $10M
6th place $5M

That would still leave $17M in prize money for race win / pole & FTD at each race!

Know one knows how the $420M is split but I guess it would be something like the above, give or take a few mil.

A driver with his experience will have the car sussed within 20 laps! no problem.

The only important thing he wont have this time is a person named Ross Brawn !

FOTA consider prize money equality | Formula 1 Blog.com

I have done huge research into this before, and you read many many different things, but what I posted was what many class as "about" right.

This is why the smaller teams have wanted rule changes for years. It's only the big money teams that win even more money!
They will spend what ever you throw at them.

I have been a massive Schumacher fan all my life, started giving up on f1 a little only really kept watching to support massa as he was working with Schumacher. Don’t think the brawn issue will be a problem i have always put most of the strategy down to Schumacher and his ability to get the lap times when they are needed.

Great to have him back, keeping massas seat safe for when he is ready

CJE: If MS gets any points in the last 4 races (which I think could well happen), it would be in Ferrari's interest to ask him to sign for 2010.

Depending if Alonso has already signed for Ferrari ? do you feel that Ferrari would have MS over Massa for 2010 assuming Massa's eye sight & injury are ok for him to drive ??

If Alonso has signed who do you think he was to replace ? Kimi "furking interesting" Raikkonen or Massa ??

My personal take on the MS factor is that MS will just cover until Massa is 100% to enable Ferrari every chance to maintain a point challenge for the constructors title.
Every team needs a plan B and MS is the dogs dodahs of a plan B.

Could be right Hugh.
I dont think MS wanted to do it. His initial quote to the media suggested that Ferrari's commitment forced him into a something he would rather not have done.

They say the last 4 races will generate 35% more spectators due to MS.

Nothing to do with Bernie E ? I'll have a grand he was invloved somewhere along the line.

From what i read the main reason for MS retired was to give Massa his seat as kimi had been signed and MS only wanted another year so he stood down to make room for massa. Think since then they have been working together to help massa,s pace and consistency which seems to have paid off.

Bernie E is always in the background

I do divert off the project sometimes, maybe I should stick just to the P1 progress, although the thread does seem popular. Maybe that's why ?.

I think one reason it's popular is that a chunk of the guys with BIG power Impreza's have been drawn into the thread and that's cool.

All good fun

Should get real busy soon due to some forthcoming subjects that include:-

How to achieve 500Bhp for less than £1000 / Wife Swapping / Who has the best pair of **** and ten ways to prolong male ejaculation
