I'm sorry hunnybunny but I have to agree with the DCI, DirtyDancing is awful. Not that I've seen the stage show you understand, just the film, but I can imagine the stage show is just a bit worse as you can't just switch it off and it's a bit nearer and louder
Anyway, having no experience of something never stopped the dedicated NSR'er from having an opinion on it

The film itself was sickly I totally agree, Patrick doo dah is really weird anyway but the show I thought was good and the music was brilliant.. But maybe, just maybe from a guys point of view its a bit too much..
Okie dokie DCI, point taken.. I've seen your other posts and thought it would be ok to have a laugh and then I got your reply I thought "blimey" your not a morning person

Arr see your warming up now, you've had your coffee then ?? I'm not into poker though, can't play cards !!
I think we have got off the beaten track and the poor bloke that posted the thread must be totally confused and still has no where to take his girlie.. How about a picnic near the caves and a bottle of nice wine ?

Go over to Castleton... Have a walk or boat ride through on of the caverns..
Also... Chesnut centre near chapel en le frith is nice for a few hours..
Manchester has loads of places to look at and visit..
Depends what she likes..There is The Lowry and war museum, also quite a few good galleries...Then again, there is Burger king,McD's and im sure there is still a wimpy..
Oh and a crispy creme donut drive through..Just incase she's a flag cracker.
