The shipment is being manufactured now to leave maybe late next week if we are lucky. The boat takes around 4 weeks plus another 1-2 to get from the docks to us.

If you buy at the full price then I can airfreight them. Airfreight can take as little as 2 working days, we recently ordered a set on Thursday morning and they arrived on Monday!

If you buy a set of coilovers then Ill also offer a very good discount on a set of KSport alignment arms if taken at the same time. We have run KSport alignment arms on our 530bhp V8 competition Skyline for the last three years and theyre still working perfectly. And that car has had some serious abuse!

Buy a set of coilovers and save £100 on the alignment set making them just £249! A steal

Bren,
Any of you cars running on 19" rims? Would you advice on getting the coilovers of the Scooby is on 19" wheels? What woudl the overall response be of the car...
I have heard 19" destroy the handling...is this the case?

You get the three rear lower arms which allows you to set camber and rear toe. They also eliminate most of the original rubber bushes thus reducing flex and so geometry changes under cornering force resulitng in sharper handling with more feel and better chassis response

See above.

Theyre good for road, track and the Ring. A proper all rounder Id go for 5/4 if you want a nice risde for long journeys.

We dont run 19s, as you say they dont do the handling or ride any favours. They wont totally destroy the handling but certainly wont contribute. I wouldnt, and dont, run them on any of my cars.

Hi Bren

Got the BC ones arrived yesterday thanks, they look great.

I'm currently looking for someone to fit them.

An Alignment specialist said it was best to get them fitted and then let them bed in for a few days before getting them aligned..

Is that something you would recommend?

And secondly the actual fitting of them is fairly easy right? Any competent garage would be able to do this? Or would I need a specialist to sort out the ride height etc?

Been quoted about £180 so far to get them fitted .. meh.. ah well.

Thanks

Matt

The fittings an easy job but its best to let someone whos installed coilovers before do it so they get thespring preload etc correct. £180 sounds expensive. Id expect the job to take around 2 hours so 2 hours labour. Letting them settle is wise.

Yep, thats just us clearing straggling stock to make room as we had another shipment of 75 coilover kits arrive today, we have another container of various goodies coming next week, we have another 60 odd sets of coilovers coming early September and at the same time we have 120 brake kits due to land.

We are getting short of room!

Bren,

You replied to my other thread about 08 STI suspension.

Can you confirm a price and availability date?

Hi Bren it's Toby from Toy Tuning Ltd. Do you have any sets in for a Classic 1995 WRX Wagon? Our two rear shock absorbers have gone and we are in desperate need of replacement, we were looking for a s/hand rear OEM set but seeing as a full set of Apex Coilovers are so reasonable it makes sense to go for them.

Can you let me know time frame on these as we need to tow the demo car to race meetings over the next few months and without the Suabru in action it won't be happening!

Thanks,

T

Hi

Had them fitted today and the drive home was very comfortable for the height of the car.

I am getting some rubbing at the front on full lock so I guess I will have to get it raised a few mil.

Impressed so far, cannot really try them out until I get it aligned properly..

Its lucky I got them done too.. chap who fitted them pointed out I have virtually not pads left on the rear breaks.. ah well.. new pads then.. more money.. grumble grumble...
