So many white hawkeyes, suprising since there are hardly any white blobs or bugs

Ok ok.....so it's a blob eye, but it is a MY05 with the 114.3mm PCD

I too struggled to find alloys that a) Were a design I liked, b) fitted and c) that I could afford.

I really would have liked Prodrive GC06's or Advan RGII's/RS's, but just could not afford them. I was after 8" or 8.5" wide wheels, but to get them in the correct offset is nigh on impossible (unless you buy expensive wheels).

On NASIOC you will see threads with "aggressive" wheel fitments. Some of them look really really good, but they generally require quite extreme camber settings and coil-overs, etc to eneble the wheels to clear the arches and springs. 10" wide wheels anyone? There are cars over the pond with such lovelies fitted!! 9" Advan RS with a GTR face would be my dream wheel.....but pricey!!!!

I ended up with 7.5" wide Dare Drift RGII's with ET45, but they didn't clear the Brembos on the front. I'd spent so long looking at different wheels that I couldn't be bothered to start all over again, so I had some custom/precision 5mm thick spacers made up (hubcentric) and fitted extended "motorsport" wheel studs. Not ideal I know, but I like the look of the wheels and like I say, couldn't afford Advans.
