Default pic request - hawkeye's with new wheels

I want some new wheels, but I really can't see any that I like, I change my mind everytime I look in a magazine or online, and I struggle to imagine them on my Scooby, I feel sick and faint from it all... It's doing my head in, I'm dreaming about alloy wheels..!

Have compassion fellow owners and help me out with some pics, please!?

just paint em !!!! )

I've looked around but due to the ***** offset and bolt placement there is little choice ..... if you're spoilt for choice let me know what you've found !!!

Looks good! **** I haven't been thinking about offset and bolt placement?! (Mainly as I've no idea what they are?)

Can you tell me what I need to be looking for?

First things first the bolt pattern is 114 .... worry about that first (you'll see your choices diminish rapidly) then look at the offset. I think it's very high ... don't quote me on it but I think it's something like 58. You can run with a lower offset but handling "may" be affected.

It's only the haweye STI (and new shape STIs) that have this combo so they are a pain to find.

(disclaimer dont quote me on anything I take no responsibility for any of the drivel that comes out of my mouth )

Well saved !

Anything 18/17"x8 with an offset of ET48 and you are fine

I have rota torques and speedlines for the Spec D they are in 18x8 ET48 on a 235/40/18 tyre. Nice set up

As long as you ask for MY06 STi fitment 5x114.3 PDC and Brembo fitment most suppliers will be able to recomend a wheel.

If you get stuck just log on to the prodrive website and look at the sizes quoted for their after market upgrades.

Subaru changed the hubs for the MY05 STis, so the later blobeyes have the same wheels as the hawkeyes.

Take a look at mine to see if you like 5-spokes.

I'm going for black Oz Ultraleggras on mine, but also found that there's not a great deal of choice for the size and fitment of wheel needed.

P.S. I think that's the first hawkeye wagon I have ever seen, with exception of the GB270. Very rare!

114,3 x 5 is common.. Trust me. Mazda,Lexus,Honda,Mitsubishi etc etc uses it... But 45-50+ ET is a real pain in the ***... Mazda 6 MPS has same ET as scooby, so get some mazda alloys, paint them black and your good to go.

My car:

Btw, it doesnt look like that anymore.

Edit: MAK Spirits painted in black... I can try to get some pics from my friends mazdas alloys... He just painted those in black also.

I'm looking to buy some alloys off a guy with a blobeye WRX, will these fit on my hawkeye wrx?
