Your going to be suprised when you start this Chris.... the amount that can be swapped over is quite an eye opener I have quite a collection of old one's now, as said there are a few to stay away from.... I would suggest having a talk with your mechanic first he will point out the one's to avoid.

It's to late to edit now as well as well

I'll have to do a short vid of it running.... it sounds great not to loud and certainly not silent it's a good compromise.

Money no object I think I would go for the 3" HKS HyperSilent my mates got one on his Type-r and I have to admit I'm impressed.

Well the thought had crossed my mind but I'm going to leave it for now, as it is a uk engine a red top is out of the question but it would look good it has to be said and I'm not sure if another colour would work in my eyes.

I do have a small problem though if anyone can shed some light on it for me I would really appreciate it...

Bufty indeed

Lee the OEM one is staying but if a top condition standard came my way for refurb it may be worth looking into but for what I use the car for etc I'm not going down the FMIC route as it's far to expensive for what return I would get.

I've had to send my original off but I do have another pump with one on here so that could be an option... I had not even considered there may be a difference, still don't know and I'm not sure that simply the tank would effect it either as you can see I'm confused but when we do find the problem rest assured I'll post it in case it helps anyone else along the way.
