It'll be a fecking long wait, if it's anything like waiting for him replying to a text message!

Does this mean the part is en-route and you're actually gonna pull your finger out and finish the car?

Thanks for the FB and text heads up Trev and Micky on leave this week so staying away from computers

Feedback from Dave is that ORC can't ship abroad but they have advised I speak to a European company that does hold some of their parts in the Czech Republic;

http://www.kageki-racing.cz/kontakt.html

Just dropped them a mail in English...if no joy then I think I have a couple of people who hail from the Czech Republic...so fingers crossed

oh yeah...this old thing

So no joy with the ORC parts; despite them being in the latest catalogue they stopped making them in 2006 So will have to fab them.

Drawing a line in the sand here now though; this WILL be running for Si's memorial thrash. That is a promise to an absent friend.

That's why I don't have any sort of project/update thread.

I've got no deadlines to meet. If stuff doesn't ever get done, then, so be it.

My car is a fecking rot box anyway, so it matters not.

sorry, Well bit the bullet and addressed mapping, something I've been avoiding too in all honesty, after all the help Si gave. Big void created

Tracktive were very helpful, mailed Richard and I think we will be trailoring the wagon up there for a running in map rather than trying a generic map that can be mailed.

Clutch bracket is 70% done, should have a final version by the end of next week with a view to getting it fabricated if I'm unhappy with my efforts.

Short listed replacment daily to one of the following too...

Cayman S
E92 M3
E46 M3 CS
Z4M coupe

choice eh

Would have to be the Z4M for me the rest are either common or not special enough. Dont see many Z4M's, they look great and will hold their value better than the other 3

I want a Space Grey one...there are only two in the UK

Local Bimmer dealers are pulling a manual and DCT E92s in for me to test drive, so there is another choice! has to be manual for the others though.
