well I had a massive fail at a Car Limits day with a few friends due to the bloody 182 intermittently cutting out on Friday...so I went home and finished the clutch bracket mule.
Mo popped over on his way back from Car Limits and gave my botch-job the thumbs up and suggested we test it...so we bled the clutch and it works; put the car in gear for the first time in six years!

Ha, I wish...no its just testing the mule for the clutch bracket so static still!
It doesn't look much but it work perfectly; no flex and nice and square on the clutch fork. Going to get it made up in steel with the cut tube spacers welded in place.

Also work out the mounting point for the PS tank. To get it in the right place I need to add another connection 180 degrees to the current location and reverse the top inlet. Expertly modeled by Mo who knows a man that ca...hopefully be done in a couple of weeks.

I need to make a new list...sorry to disappoint you
all but it will move under its own steam very soon...awesome smilies by the way

No chance on the wagon sadly...the surrender monkey still isn't firing up either, looks to be some sort of intermittent fault so its going to a specialist...then I'm selling the bloody thing; it steals so much time from the wagon. So there is a chance I may be a passenger only 😬

A couple of photos from Si's day...28/43, so not too bad when you consider the other cars. I beat a stripped out caged 'Teg and the only FWD faster was Si's old stripped, caged track 205, which I think has an Mi16 lump in it...so very fitting

Bracket back...just needs a gentle fettle to fit perfectly then I can paint and install it.

Also got some sheet ally from the fabricators so I can make the bracket for the PS tank. Slight change in plans for cooling; I'll be swapping out the single fan for a pair...think I'll stick the OE fans back in so I don't need to mess around getting a new hardpipe made up for the rad crossover...anyways, this is how its looking...
