the former Jura, more for safeties sake than surge...baffled sump should be fine. My low oil pressure buzzer and accumsump could save me lunching an engine and has the added benefit of instant oil pressure when starting

Cheers Jura...looking forward to posting long engine pics...
Jag even with a hefty discount it's a wallet basher of a vendor to be sure...still a chunk cheaper than a new motor though

If you'd paid extra for Saturday delivery you could have kept yourself occupied over the long weekend.
How much is left to do? Or is the done list shorter?

Jag they have all the kit you could ever need and more the prices reflect the quality of the kit and the service is always excellent. They know their $hit inside out too. Major win for everyone

Diff back from TEG Sport
Interior back from Phil, not going to open it until it's ready to fit as the house is still in mid refurb and I don't want it covered in dust and cat hair
Loom back from Tim with charge temp sensor added, thanks Tim
Accumsump and electric primer kit...hopefully going to be mounted on the bulk head under the front strut brace.
In-line oil filter for blower...
Brand new oil cooler and -10 fittings...I might even be able to get the bumper\lights etc in

Front end back on...whoop. I had to move the oil cooler and make a small cut for the cooler hoses but otherwise not too bad.
bumper\wing gaps are good one side...
...but a bit poor on the other, still a final adjust and put the arch liners back so hopefully I'll be able to improve it the

Might have to give him a shout. What bottom end were you running? surely it wasn't UK turbo? just bought a UK Wagon. Will get some pics up shortly but had bottom knock. I have just got another standard UK bottom end from a McRae series, not fitted it yet but was thinking if I want to up the power am I better off getting a 2.5?

Yes standard v6 UK bottom end. I knew I was on borrowed time with the 18g but I believe the reason it actually went pop was because I swapped the 2.5 to a 3 system and didn't get it remapped, which caused a boost spike.
What are you aiming for, bearing in mind gearbox weakness is a major issue and you will need to consider that and the clutch carefully. Power level is totally down to how deep your pockets are really.

Ha, well got my first sprog on the way October... so not too deep this year. I wouldn't want more than 280. It has to be a daily driver as well. Once she is running.
I had a type R sti, and that had about 2 bottom ends fitted before I finally got told he may want a remap.
I guess long as the mods are subtle she should fine. Open to suggestions on what is needed. Funnily enough I know where there is a Type R box and Diff. Might just have to fit that anyway. prefer 40/60 rear split thanks for your help/.
