Cheers fast
Interior fun today;
Started like this.

Ended up like this.

Phil is getting a bit box of parts at Flock It!

I can't decide whether to get the grey/silver bits done though, any opinions or photos to help me make my mind up?

Took the opportunity to swap my heater matrix for a non-air con version; without the hoses in the way I have room to mount my swirl pot on the bulk head

Gearbox is supposed to be finished now and fingers crossed i've just sourced a v5 DCCD to solve my wiring woes.

Flocked dashboard will looks nice and really will transform interior
About the other bits, should be looks nice black sprayed or flocked ?

About the V5 DCCD,what problems you have with wiring? You mean you have problems with DCCD clocks on yours?
From pictures looking like lots of jobs to do,but should be nice when will be finished

I was going to do them high gloss piano black, then I found these

No issues with DCCD apart from how to get the lights in the dash working too, 22B to the rescue

I hope so Jura, will look a bit different from most flocked interiors anyways

I wanted to get the diff rebuilt today but one of the bolts refuses to play ball, despite copious amount of WD40 and an impact gun. Will soak t with release agent tonight and fingers crossed it will loosen tomorrow.

Sorted the dash wiring, just to make it easier to reinstall everything, got rid of the last of the airbag wiring and had a bit of luck. The sunroof switch fits into the OBDCII port so as I'm not running an OE ECU I have a stealth sunroof button

Working out where my fuel pump, filter an swirl pot need to go under the bonnet I really need the bracket on the swirl pot rotated 90 and opposite the -AN fittings. I'll have to drop Forge an e-mail and see what they can do.
Not sent off the dash as I'm still waiting for the last couple of bits of damaged trim and I'm still undecided about the flocking colours. I have had a quote back from Wicked Coatings though

got the last bolt out today so diff is rear to go get assembled, on advice form 22b I'm going to get the diff built by an professional. That way i know the lash has been set correctly and the thing won't tear itself apart. I'm going so see how much a new steal gasket set for it is too.
LOL. So whats wrong with having a sunroof switch, err, near the sunroof?
