that's why I ditched my aircon

the Infinity thing is great, it has a separate volume controller so I can have decent music quality without sound like a dub fiend at the traffic lights...

Yeah but Matt, with a 2.35 and a GT30 I'm not going to need to go to those lengths You should have kept the RA

Stu, the Infinity thing is way smaller and lighter than traditional subs (like yours )...I can always take out the trye weld if I need to loose some extra poundage

mmmmmm GT30.

Makes so much difference to the handling though. If it wouldn't get me in grief with the missus for doing it, I'd do it again to the sti. But that's why I had to be rid of the RA. Was no longer a family car and just sat on the drive doing nothing. Then I found out the kid that bought it off me blew it up

Looking good Trails...

I'm hoping to go the GT30/40 route as well... can't wait

Agree subtle is the way forward.. quieter the better to avoid unwanted attention.

only 1 so far. already change a little from this. now sporting red flaps (oooo er ) got uk style plates ready to go on, couple of little graphics; my website, mcrae & burns stickers, username for rear windows etc. got my fpr to go on and I'm going to parralell the fuel rails while I'm fitting the fpr. Getting a rather smart eboost controller off budgie to go in which doubles as a boost gauge. Will be getting some silicone hoses as some of the standard ones are perishing slightly. Bonnet raisers and intercooler tilt kit in design (along with Stu's horn push spacer ) Also tempted to get some arch extenders and new wheels when the tyres need replacing.

About a month now. We have another baby on the way and I needed a bigger car. The Fiesta just wouldn't cut it space wise. So I sat down and thought long and hard and research boot space and came up with needing another Impreza. I wanted a wagon and saw some really nice ones. But the missus said she prefered the look of the saloon so thought it'd be rude not to get an STi this time

Yep, I saw your first post with the wagon.

I'm kinda tempted but am spending so much on the bastid right now I have to draw the line somewhere.

practical mod. will allow you to run a much wider track from the wider width wheels and thus lower the centre of gravity give flatter and better turn it there you go, justified them for you
