Yes mate it is.

If you have an earlier car with the 2 pin oval sensor you will need 22630AA041.

got supplied the wrong one was given the two pin plug took car apart to find out its the wrong one so ordered the right one.

have to wait another day.

just hopes it cures it.

Not as common as 99my airflow meters lol, but they are a sensor that fails often enough to warrant us keeping them in stock.

John

You will find your sensor on the metal water transfer pipe, sitting just under the inlet manifold just behind the alternator.

You have a grey 3 pin sensor fitted - Part number 22630AA161

fitted new sensor and all ok started it this morning and runs fine.

Although I occasionally have the starting problems described, It will go through periods of being fine - no probs. at all! (I'm sure my car is female - time of the month and all that!) The temp. sensor is obviously working as the PSi3 unit displays engine temp. and indicates normal readings.
