Do you think the drivers of an Astra VXR will just plant there foot, and not learn to modulate the throttle a little bit.

You see, driving cars with less grip can teach you a thing or 2.

then whats the point of having all that power?, its not a good driving experience trying to get a front wheel drive car to go !!

you would have better fun in a 'council edition impreza'

Fwd can only get you so far, throw in some rain and you're pretty much buggered with all that torque.

My 309gti was 220hp and was a handful at best, even with a quaife and good tyres.

the most fun i have had on the track is in rear drive cars. AWD has a braking point, you can push it, but i find once you hit a point it bites and I have had some very scary moments!

True, to push a scoob you do have to be pretty ballsy, i did once kick the back out while doing 70, left a nice brown trail in my trousers that's for sure, good job i knew to feather the throttle rather than bury the brakes in panic.

But i do have an perrin alk here now that should be fun.
