My wife had to do a basic computer course as part of her Law degree, she passed by literally learning the sequence of key strokes needed to do what was needed to be done, she had absolutely no understanding of what she was doing whatsoever.

I've worked in technology/IT since leaving school in the dark ages before the IBM PC was launched, and I've worked with very few women who were genuinely technically adept. However the ones that were, were good at their jobs. Most women seem to get Blonde-itis when it come's to technology.

I've never seen a man pick up a mouse and place it ON the screen and move it up and down to try and get the cursor to move, or ask how a fax machine rolls the pages up SOOOO small so it can squeeze them down the phone cable, or ask if you put blank A4 sheets in the paper tray of a printer, upside down, will the letters come out upside down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The most challenging of the 400+ staff I help support are stupid bints, sorry. That's not to say there aren't some right wuckfits of the male gender though.
