Safe boost level
Excuse my ignorance with GDB's but could you not hold boost @ 1.5 througout the rev range - I'd imagine your torque curve would dramically change along with power too......perhaps peaking and droppng back is what's the 'safe' level for that engine??
Question - I have a friend who's got a 2004 Sti UK currently running 1.2 bar with the usual bolt on's (without a remap) and has been told that 1.4 would be a safe evel for him to run...agree or disagree...?
Answers on a post card please

I am the friend in question. Petedotuk, what mods do you have running that boost if you don't mind me asking?
Answers via carrier pidgeon please. Just point him to gods country, he'll find me!

Well i ran me RB5 for almost 8 months at 1.25-1.3 bar on a greddy boost controller and various mods with no remap and it caused me no probs, car ran great. I now have an aftermarket ecu fitted and mapped!!
