Yep unless you are really starting to mod real hard.
K-wire thermocouple after the intercooler is what I am planning, but apparently EGT is more useful as cylinder temps are the place it matters. Look out some of CosieConverts stuff and T-uk's thread on water spray from today for links to autospeed articles aplenty.

See the Dawes FAQ thread. In there one of the scoobynet links is about using a restrictor valve instead of the restrictor. In there is a link to the supplier Pipemore.

Won't a good air/fuel meter let you know if the combustion temp is getting too high,(all be it indirectly), since it will tell you if your mixture is too lean, or is that not accurate enough.
Where is the best place to order the IGT air filter from?
For those of you interested in the Denso Iridium IK22 (Heat Range) you can order them from http://www.olyonline.com/ in the USA.
Note that while this is their website, you will have to use the mail order division (see details below) since the item is not listed on their site.
