Feels like ages ago since I posted the original post on this thread.
On one boat trip, we had to fill in our names, nationality and provide an ID number, I used my mobile number. We were advised we'd only need a visa if we chose to leave the Sharm peninsula.
I wish I was on holiday now

Visas are only needed for Ras Mohammed National Park (if you want to dive it, and believe me if you dive it's a must!).
There are a number of different 'anti-*****' tablets.
The ones we found the most effective are called Antinal. They should cost you about £1 for 3 packs, but you might get them less if you haggle for longer :-)
Be warned though, you need to take the tablets each day, and for about 1 week after you get back to "play" safe.
We know from bitter experience that the nasties stay in your guts for a few days after you return, so you need to continue protection until they are gone.

The other tablets I've had good results from are called Diax.
You will be unlikely to get either Diax or Antinal in the UK, as they are not UK licenced drugs (according to the chemists), but they are cheap as chips in Egypt anyway.

You can buy viagra off the shelf as well. I took the Mrs so didn't bother trying any as I've shagged her enough times already.
I noticed that Viagra was on sale too. I decided it wasn't worth buying it as I didn't want RSI

really tired now though
