Parking ticket whilst getting visitor voucher

Sounds like you are a 'townie' SB? Used to these things? Know exactly what to do and how to evade persecution? Well we are not, sorry - jus' simple country folke that had already arranged to get the 'voucher' thingy
Consider a 40" walk to the house, 25" to open the door, a not outrageous 50" to say 'lovely to see you babe, now lets get the vouchers out", what do we have to do, where's the pen, check the rules again; have we done it right, good, back out to the car... under 5 mins doesnt seem to be the dregs of society taking the pii type stuff does it? Esp when all the luggage is still in the car, and no Disklocks etc are applied etc?
I'm gonna leave this now as it is starting to look petty over a petty thing. It would however be great if motorists could stick together a little more in the face of the fact that the authorities think that we all all dodgy/slippery characters out to 'do' them out of their filthy lucre. God knows ordinary decent citizens get treated with contempt, disdain clobbered and milked for all we are worth as much as is possible already.
Letter has gone off (specifying voucher No, receipt No, time and date and place of purchase); I'll post what the outcome was (and the letter) whatever the result. Would you ever turn down a freebie £50 though

Yes, I do live in a town centre next to a hospital which charges disgusting parking fees. However, since it appears wife's friend also lives in a pretty harshly controlled area, I'm just surprised the friend didn't have the voucher ready with most of the info already filled out - I'm not blaming your wife here. Hope it gets sorted.

Her mate doesnt even drive and had just moved there . All new to her & the missus!
