I'd have thought they are 2 of the 4 mounting points for the rear wing.

We mount the rear wings on our CanAm cars with pip pins, as strong as any bolt in shear load yet instantly removable. (1960's technology )

Your not the only one saying that!!

Unfortunatley people have commented on my long way round at body work...

What happened here... other than you?

Well there was a bit of a high spot so I tapped it in..

Then I ended up with a panel that popped in and out when I filled and sanded it.. so I got annoyed and hit it harder!!

I dont have the patience for body work, hence having a car looking similar in the garage.. Painting the car I can cope with.. its painting the inside thats hard!

LOL @ Andrew. That is just what Neil has used to line up the bumper, it isn't the front splitter. We haven't made that yet...

OK, had to draft in a bit of extra help with the seam sealing today..

Shell is now in the oven, awaiting the sealer to dry, and should get some colour on it tomorrow...

So................is my patented sooper dooper front splitter not going to be used now..

After all that work as well, I dont know...

Looking good

You are running the rear shafts at an quite an angle then ? Diff looks quite low.

If you are running very low then in order to run the rear shafts and the propshaft without articulation, you need to raise the diff and prop further which means you need to cut the tunnel right where those c/cages have the diff brace tube.

Even if you run a two piece prop?

Yes, you would still need articulation somewhere, not a big issue just an observation and an interesting difference to my approach
