14,000 feet altitude tends to require larger aero.

As ever, the devils in the detail!
Is the car actually going to be silver then? I was hoping for something a bit more lurid, though graphics will transform the image I'm sure.
Looking forward to the pics tonight!

In my garage, it currently goes up and down on the ramp at quite an impressive rate since I lightened it

It's not like you have to wait a long time to see the colour! First round is only 34 days away

Paul - are you doing any track days pre Donington to shake it all down and test it?

Great thread and project guys @ Zen...
@ Hans or Zen:
What method of welding are you using on the car? It looks fastidiously neat and very well done. What make of welders are you using to?
Keep up the good work...

My guess for colour is British Racing Green, what would suit it better? Dark green and carbon fibre, mmmmm.

I used a combination of mostly T.I.G. and very little M.I.G. (just to tack together really) and the fine finish is the result of a steady hand!!
Lets just say that if you were to play a game of 'operation' with me, I would win every time, and I do when I play with my kids!!
Hans.

Car looks great, is it 'just' a case of bolting everything in (running gear, suspension etc)? Or are a lot of bits, one offs, so will require some testing/extra fabricating to fit?
