Paul,

Unless I am mistaken I have read a fair few sweeping generalisations from you on SN.

I recall a thread about a certain religon where you had very strong views and certainly not based upon how many people of that religon you knew. If I am wrong and it wasn't you I apologise in advance.

I am pretty certain it was you however, care to comment?

Plod, some of them are okay. however some of them are @rseh*les just like the general public. i'll tell a story, we have a disfunctional family along the street they have an overweight child. she has a learning disabilty which gives her special permission to harass myself and my family. the police say they cannot do anything about her. strike one to them being non helpful. another occasion my mother lives in Norris Green Liverpool, there was an incident where two of the hoody tracky bottom genus climbed the fence and were looking furtive in the rear garden. my mother rang 999 and the police came 36 hours later. strike two negative plod

I dialled 999 to report vandals wrecking the local school back in January and was told 999 was for emergency calls only

The cps and this interfering government are the biggest problem

I have always thought it was illegal on the grounds you cant see properly with the interior light reflecting on the inside of the windows, anyway, cheers for clearing that up !

Still turning it on is kind of secondary to turning it on so the copper can see your gesture !

Paul,

I am neither going to re-ignite that subject nor revisit that thread - best consigned to history.

My comment was not just based upon a 'sweeping generalisation' specifically. On this thread you have made a number of comments and conducted a very stout defence of our Police force, based upon sound principles of fairness and common sense.

In my opinion, you have not always displayed such admirable characteristics when discussing specific groups of people.

In view of the obvious strength of your comments and views here, (I wonder as to who has issued the various infractions on this thread?) that smacks of simply gross inconsistency and a severe attack on your credibility.

If you are still unsure as to what I am referring to and want more specific details Paul, feel free to pm me, otherwise I will consider my question answered.

Thanks.

Asif
