Urban, I wasnt trolling, was just pointing out how impressed I was with the car, first time I have owned an STI and having had a lot of cars previously am stunned at the performance, they are amazing, I dont drive like that all the time it was a one off, is everyone out there telling me they havent at one time tried out their cars to see what they can do especially at the right time and place ie on a track?? If some of you are upset then apologies for the post, but I am still bloody impressed by the car

Only problem being that if something else happens, you don't necessarily know about it.
Then again, first time you know that your MAF or Lambda is knackered is because the car won't run right or blows up. Not a lot of useful diagnostics/detection on the ECU compared to modern stuff.

The working of you're initial post suggested you were.

NICE!! i pulled 140 out of my classic yesterday and she was still pulling.. thing is, it was windy, and the car handles like a brick in the wind, so i had to back off due to my pants starting to fill slowly!!

subaru cars arent that fast top speed if you want a fast car get a capri or summit lol .
seriously though a standard subaru struggles to do 140 in modern day times a diesel can cruise at that speed namely a e320 merc , horses for courses
fast is a diesel =
