Ah G-STAR this thread has made my morning. Cant stop laughing esp the comment about the special bus. This is the kinda banter that keep the sports forum ticking
I just love the way 'pool fans are defiant to the end. Guy at work (who took a day off after the latest euro defeat) is like "but if we win our next 2 champs league games its all down to the last one". What makes you think you can win them after not managing it in the last 3????
No doubt they still proclaim Gerrard to be the worlds best player hahaha

Well I have to be honest and say we definitely got away with it last night
But at least we've started to play some football, unlike the last few games
Steven Gerrard may be our star, but IMO it's Xavi Alonso that really makes the difference

Good result for Liverpool (and us tbf as loses 4 pts between you) in the end. Arsenal had far greater posession and looked a lot more like scoring. A lot of spawned chances. No idea what **** wall was doing for the gerrard free kick.

Cracking game yesterday to be fair. Arsenal were far and away the better team but Liverpool had as many chances to test the keeper. Thought Adeybayor sp? was shocking yesterday. If they'd had a decent front man Arsenal would have been more effective.

I thought Carragher was lucky to stay on the pitch. Andy Gray was saying how easy Eboue went down but I was more interested in why Carragher felt the need to raise his hands in such a fashion? Then there was the manhandling of Fabregas in the area.

He was lucky to stay on the pitch against Everton last week, seems he's very angry and aggressive at the moment, a chip off the old mans block no doubt.

anyone see the adebayor lunge ? guess not.
end of the day decisions are down to the ref and i thought webb had a decent game.
Good to see Fabregas saying SG a world class player, unlike some on this forum who can't bare to admit it.

Both Fabregas and Gerrard have exchanged the compliments to each other which i thought was quite nice.

Reports that the debt at Hicks et al have from buying Liverpool could be restructured ala United on to the club. £500 mil if you believe the papers. thoughts on this Liverpool fans?
Gerrard is class. it's the average players around him that are the problem.
