Default Liverpool - I thought you'd turned a corner, I thought this was your year?

Deluded.

Fans on Five Live are now calling for Rafa's head - brilliant.

Oh well, at least you'll now be able to focus on the league...cup.

It's highly amusing considering how deluded the Liverpool fans are. I should get bored of being right all the time but it still amuses me... Liverpool are a totally average team

we win our next two games and we're right back in it.

deluded ? we're not the ones who in the past 17 years have only reached the final once. underachievement, its closer to home than you think fella.

And you might want to have a closer look at your away record in Europe. truly comical.

being a liverpool fan, i am very disappointed, every year i knew we won't win the league ,but this year with the signings i thought we would give all the others a big challenge, but somehow rafa had kinda fooked it up, he also has some kinda grudge with crouch?

mid october and we're unbeatan in the league .........

we've had the best record of any british club in europe for the past few years and no reason why we can't still qualify.

i do think subs need more than 10 mins though, by the time they've got into the game its almost over.

as for gerrard bashers, he scored a good goal yesterday.

Tragedy!

When you lose control and you score no goals
Its Tragedy
When Rafa rotates and subs too late

It's hard to bear
When everyone hates you
and you live in the past (de de de derrrr)

Tragedy!

Theres huge pressure on the weekends match against Arsenal now, and they've had an extra 2 days in the UK to prepare.....

Liverpool must not fall 9 points behind or we'll be in the same situation as last year, constantly playing catch up

I dunno .... at the moment looking at form its gonna be very difficult for Liverpool to beat Arsenal

However as they say its a funny old game ....

Still can't understand why Crouch wasn't brought on earlier last night

Baffling

Crouch is crap that's why. Saying that only Torres is any good up front for the pool.

You sound like you're setting the league alight, i dont think so. You scrambled a few one nillers when you played crap. I'm not concerned about your lot.

We've got a game in hand and we're right up there. Our form has dipped a little, but its recoverable.

I can assure you that there will be a few people wanting crouch if he's put up for sale.

Seven wins on the trot, with eight goals scored in the previous two league matches (12 in 3 if you want to count Tuesday). I'd say we're cooking on gas at the moment.

You're not worried about us? Give me a break. There's absolutely nothing to suggest that you'll be close to mounting a serious challenge this year, as with many a year gone by.

Such a pity that your game in hand is against Arsenal, who are, in all honesty, playing football on another level at the moment. Good luck with that one.

Derby, Bolton and possibly Sheffield Wednesday

You're right not to be concerned about our lot, we wont be hampering your UEFA cup chances... You concentrate on concerning yourself with Blackburn and Villa

Rafa could be heading towards the door the owners have stated they want a "Cup" this season it will not be in europe nor the prem, so he had better rotate the squad for the fa or league cup to survive!
The owners will have the attitude as spurs had so if you spend big off season you must look like you will win something.

any one can prepare stats to make yourself look good, you eeked out a series of jammy one nilers and come on here saying you're playing top draw football?

FACT - we're not behind your rabble and given its still October we're in a very good position.

and suggest you get your facts right instead of coming on here with your usual dross. Our game in hand was at home to west ham.....

I said we've won seven games in a row and have scored 12 in 3 - where's the 'top draw' comment?

Technically, not really 'FACT', is it?

Four points behind with one game in hand...even Clattenburg cannot award you four points for a win.

However, I'll give you the 'very good position' bit - usually you're well out of it by the end of September.

Sorry, I was forgetting some of the smaller teams had to go through qualification stages of the Champions League. In hindsight, probably not worth all that effort, eh?
