I'd be interested to see a video of the flashing pixel with something other than a static black background behind it, even something with a dark background where the pixel is but other motion in the frame. I'm curious to see in that situation how noticeable the flashing pixel really is.

The judge will want to see it with a picture on the screen, ie. how it would be viewed in normal circumstances. He/She also needs to see how it flashes - everyone who have seen it cannot believe Currys position.
Even their own 'Tech Guys' said that they couln't live with it, but must work to 'policy' ....... can't wait to see Currys faces when that evidence is produced in Court
Pete will you be turning up in court under another assumed name too? I've lost count of all of your aliases on SN. Suspect at least half the posts on this thread are just you chatting to yourself under your various guises
Blamed on a "dip in consumer spending". No **** sherlock
I wonder how much is down to the general consumer spending trend though. After all, when sales are going up, it's due to "a good business model" etc. rather than a general increase in "consumer spending". i.e. when sales are up it's due to their brilliance, when sales are down it's due to a dip in "consumer spending".
Or is it due to the pslewis effect

How have other electrical stores been getting on?

Their defence needs to be filed before 21st January 2008.
What possible, viable, defence can there possibly be for not repairing a faulty TV in line with Consumer Law, the 12 Month Guarantee and Good Customer Service?
They will have a standard defence which may have worked in the past, no doubt - but, I cannot think of one?
Consumers are very well protected in this country against this kind of thing - if only all consumers realised it and acted accordingly, the likes of DSG would be brought to its knees or it would have to treat Customers like John Lewis, Waitrose and Argos do!
