Will CURRYS Come Good??
i just spent an hour reading this lot and im not impressed with the ending. What happens now???cant go to bed not knowing. Ill never get to sleep.every time i shut my eyes i see a green pixel!!!HELP.Do i go to currys in the morning or vision express?
The place its at at the moment is that Mr Lewis V Currys in the County Court is imminent.
Papers were served on Currys on 23rd December 2007 - they have til 7th January 2008 to respond.
I guess it will be a 'stay' where they ask for 28 days to prepare a defence.
They could, of course, simply behave correctly and collect the TV and refund the purchase price + the Court Costs to date ...... but, they are not renowned for Customer Service ................

Now, I have taken a digital video of the pixel flashing away - can I upload a video to photobucket?
If so, I will let you see what it's like flashing away - you have seen the still images and can see the position - now you can judge for yourself given the true annoying story!
You can be the Judge and give your verdict .....

Then you can just paste the link in [img] tags like you would for a normal hosted picture
I have a simple question for you.
Why did you buy a tv in the first place from one of the worse places for customer service and aftercare, the family of curry`s, dixons and pcworld are simply dire.
The only place to buy a tv from is John Lewis where you get a free 5 year warranty on all televisons, if it breaks down and they can`t repair it then you get a brand new tv with no quibbles. Ive just ordered a Panasonic TH42PZ70B from them.
You should get a family discount from them Mr Lewis

Sadly, Currys, Dixons and PCWorld Customer Service is absolutely unbelievably bad!! I am still shocked at quite how bad they treat Customers with problems!
Here it is!!
The Pixel and how it flashes:-
Video of pixel fault - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
This is the position of the pixel:-

What do you think?
If the still pictures are bad, ask yourself if I should live with it flashing as in the video clip?
currys say that I am on my own and have to live with the fault .... I disagree
Will I win in Court?

Not entirely: You should try dealing with PC world BUSINESS (PCWB). Much better customer service than that of the retail store for consumers.
New laptop gone duff? PC world store will try and fix it, taking foof knows how long. Whilst the business customer dealing with PCWB will get swapped for a new one no quibbles.....plus its on account for a month, so I could have just sent it back and had it refunded
