They are dropping again, another 30p this morning. I have been told to hang fire for another few days as its possible it will go sub £2... will be watching the price every few hours. RBS are apparently moving on it too.

They were 2.60 @ lunchtime and have sat between there and 2.75 'till now. Anyone tempted?

Rather than buy - why not just stick a spread bet on and go short? You can always stick a stop in if they rise too much.

Added advantage of not having to pay tax on your winnings if you go big.

Assuming your order went ahead, you're £3746 down at the moment. I really hope there's a significant recovery via takeover or speculation thereof.

I decided to hold fire, by the way. Very, very nearly clicked @ 275 but my GF has a hunch about tomorrow's footage of more queues. I'm going to go with her hunch I think, not that of you bladdy bank workers.

Buying shares in NR is absolutely mental at the moment. Spread bet it - see where they bottom out, and then dive in for the take over.

It's essentially betting on whether you think the shares will go up or down, you bet £x per point, if you're betting down and it goes down, you make money and vice versa.

If you actually bought on Friday when you claimed, you'll have made a nice loss but not much else.

Correct. The only way to have won since friday is a spread bet.

The only reason the NSPCC will get a slice from Mr Ree is because he has had to sell his children to them.

And Xmas is sorted because he has promised his bank he will do the Xmas Party this year as Santa if they extend his overdraft

Not really, more just pointing out the big shiny hook on the end of that glittering thing that the fishes are heading off towards

Pfft! What, you sold out on the shares you bought yesterday??? Just as they are starting to recover?

You bought on Friday, they went down a further 30% yesterday, so you bought tsome more, and then they start to recover by 9 points and then you sell the lot.

Genius

I'm here JT!
Just call me a jammy git. Logged in to my internet banking account on Sunday night to place the order and didn't find the stock listed on their investment pages (drop down lists of blue chips by sector only and search of foreign stocks didn't find it either). Was a bit p1ssed off going into work on Monday that I couldn't trade, until I saw the stock had fallen so dramatically. That was a very close shave. I'm so glad that my company's internet banking is as rubbish as my timing, otherwise I'd be sitting on a rather fat loss!

What a load of poppycock. It was patently obvious to anyone who is familiar with you on here that you had neither the intention, the funds nor the gumption to buy any of these shares.

Then you have the audacity to come on here with this primary school excuse as to why you never bought the shares... after they have dropped again! Had they continued to rise we wouldn't have heard a peep out of you, would we?...

Or would you have treated us to a barely credible fish story about how you are lavishly spending your winnings?
