If you invest £10,000 in £12 shares, and they rise by 30pence its a marginal improvement.
£10,000 worth of 80p shares rise the same amount, it proves to be a short term investment, and you make a good profit.
BIG shares are for security, smaller ones are for constant trading and a quick buck. IMO anyway.
