So why do you change the rail if its not to do with power levels and the reg is the main issue.

I'll be running SX reg (already fitted) with Bosch motorsport pump to stop my fuel pressure drop from 5,000 revs...still oe rails though.

some people like the fancy hose couplings. This requires adapted or new rails.
and they look nice but no real reason due to performance.

Just had a look at my manifold to start this conversion. Do I need to keep the pipework for the carbon canister or can I remove all of that aswell ?

it's used for handling some of the vapours out of the fuel tank.
You can delete it but still need somewhere to get rid of the vapours.
for instance back to the air intake. or vent to air (but you will get occasional fuel smell)
Also keep the small pressure valve.

it's a small plastic valve which is normally connected right before the charcoal canister. Approximately left corner of radiator (when standing in front of the car). it is then connected to small pipe going underneath the intake which is connected at pipe going to fuel tank. At least for the MY99.
One way you can blow right thru the other way you need more pressure to blow thru.

Got all the old fuel rails cut etc. Just removed the fuel rails from the old manifold ready to fit on the new manifold and realised the big 'o' rings in the fuel rail are knackered !

Anyone know where I can get a set from urgently ??

I need the ones that sit in the inlet manifold where the injectors sit.

I have 550cc's and a phase 1 rail.
