so now this has turned into a "points" match between tony and marc.pm each other guys, dont spoil this thread. its a genuine debate, and its full of positives and negatives.for the record, where did you get the spoiler for less than £300 from. painted?im seriously thinking of one as i go for the stealth look on my red classic. not keen on carbon fibre, but like the spoiler. different from the norm sti.
Believe it or not i quite like Tony ive met him on many occasion and he s always been very posative about my car to my face so was a little puzzled at his comments.
Spoiler was from Welcome Page and un painted

I am sorry for the following, but it is my opinion and you will not agree with it.
You, sir, have completely ruined what could have been a lovely looking scoob. Apart from the front mount, you seemed to have in a single attempt, have stuck on everything that looks crap on a classic, including lexus lights, oversize rims, too much carbon, odd matched front/side lights and then to finish it off you have whacked on a spoiler which was designed for a certain body shape. That body shape is not the classic.
I really cant find a single thing positive to say about it and for that I am annoyed, because in all the time I have been on SN, I have always found something to like about peoples scoobs. I am at a complete loss
sorry once again, I hope you like the car and what you have done, I really do.

It is still a little too fast and too furious though I think thats down to the carbon fibre
Me, I prefer my cars a little more boring I may change the wheels or an exhaust but Marc is a little more extravagant than me
(sorry if I offended you Marc )

Its just the spoiler really Marc, it definately doesnt suit the car, I like the rest of it, even though you have shed loads of carbon fibre (hence the mention of shares in a factory somewhere ), the wheels look great as i said before but a little impracticle as they will impare the ride a touch (i use to like driving mine ) and the top spoiler is nice but the boot one just screams at you, hence if your going for a wrc one, go for a single piece one like I pointed out even though its a little more expensive (i even hate the new age STi spoilers, which this looks like btw )

spoiler looks nice so does the rest....
ive been slated for my rb5 by a couple peeps on here for "modifying" it...
each to their own...
but least when youve had negative opinion they give you a reason with not.. better than a "you have ruined it" type thing...
oh and keep up the good work for trying to be original.. to many folks on here like to comment but dont have the ***** to make there scoob original...
p.s get rid of those gash lights.. sti ones mate

For anyone interested...
The spoiler on Marcs car is specifically for the classic, not a modified newage, or WRC, or WR1 spoiler.
The WRC spoilers pointed out above by Tony Burns (Hi Tony) which have the fins built into the spoiler itself, have a tendency to crack at the base.
Marcs spoiler has the fins produced separately, which eliminates this problem.
