I'm not exactly confident in myself, but I am with engineering, yes, I've made mistakes, but I quickly learn from them and I'm a quick learner.

Don't let this knock you back, you have proved to yourself you can get another job elsewhere with relative ease.
You just need to get yourself in the shop window and look around if your sure you need a change.

No, didn't hand my notice in, but I did let them know that I'm not happy and had an interview today.
It has been a confidence boost, sort of feels good being able to turn a job down.

The money is better, much better though not much prospects, they want someone to cover long term illness, hence the short contract. I'm not in a position to takes risks so will hold out for somethings else. Plus I think it's a job where a few months down the line I'll get bored. Also I'd rather wait for a permanent job where I can totally focus on and not have to worry about looking for another job in the foreseeable future
