Quick snap of proto 3 now ready to test fit.
It now forms a complete panel to cover the inside of the wing. This one has the 83mm top hat in the bottom for my cold air feed.
So hopefully this one should be absolutely spot on in all areas and fit perfect as is. Once this is fitted and i get my power steering lines back i can get the motor dropped back in.
What do you think guys?

Welcome to mine but you might be better using Mikes when we cut for his FMIC ?
Mine is missing airbox, ABS, Carbon Can, I/C WasterSpray and various brackets I whipped off

V2's do look like a good candidate as the inlet is a direct off shoot to the wing
Excuse the 'working man's engine bay'
You may even get away with the longer RCM cone rather than the 90degree to stubby cone ?

Cheers Ross, you got PM too. Bell me anytime this week fella
Okay guys,
Proto #3 of the wingsert is finished and slotted into place. Here it is just rested in with no fixings at all and as you can see it fits pretty much perfectly. Now it has a full molding of the inner wing so now makes for a much cleaner, tidier fitting part. Once this is bonded in i hope to make it look as much like an OEM part as possible.
Im really quite please at how this has come out.
Just this left to fit and the PAS lines to modify and then the bay will be ready to have the motor dropped back in.

We tried embossing the logo but my logo is too fine to try and get in the molding and it gets messed up if you try and make it small. I wasnt happy with that... so thanks to Mark (BR5 286)
They will each be wearing one of these

Cut vinyls are silver/red will also come in the following sizes if any of you want one.

Some bits back from the powdercoaters. Mix of gloss and matte black parts.

Header tank looks a bit better now

Thermostat arrived so that got fitted too.

Just the PAS lines and boost pipes to come back now before we can drop the motor back in. I also hope to have the first batch of wingserts this week, so they will be going out to people as soon as they arrive and im happy that theyre 100%

Well theyre hand made in small batches at the moment mate. Ive been making custom one off bits for my car and others for ages now. Im forever being bombarded with emails and PMs for me to make parts for other peoples cars. My build has cost me way more than ever intended and would just like to make a few low production parts to help fund my own build.
I put alot of care and effort into my projects and it would be nice to give other the benefit of those efforts while helping to fund my own project at the same time.
There certainly has been alot of interest in the Classic fitment version, so need to get the R&D done ASAP
