To tell the truth Frayz I just enjoy reading the updates, keeps me going in work, probably one of the best threads on scoobynet
I have been watching this thread from the start and can totally sympathise mate, dont loose faith though, things will come good in the end and the result will be well worth it I'm sure
Frayz you haven't compromised from the start and I am sure you won't start now mate
You have never been affraid to deviate from the accepted norm regardless of the "stick"
Looking forward to the final result, except the gear **** of course

I know the feeling, but keep heart and you'll get there in the end.
I also like reading your updates. Mainly as I like how over-engineered everything is and gives me more ideas to waste my money too
.
Will be well worth it
.
I'm sure you probably have been, but I would probably be out layering on the wax or down the pub.... weather dependent.

I hope you get the parts that you are waiting for/due soon frayz - shame to see you lose faith like this.
Rest assured it WILL be worth it when complete - you will love the power

I know how you feel matey with waiting for parts; my proflex gear still has not turned up after 4 months now!
We spent 5 months putting the car together late last year and that was only due to waiting for parts, could have been done in a month!
Don't give up mate as when you see that turbo come through the post it will make everything feel better!!! did for me a couple weeks ago when my new one arrived back from AET!

Haha
I sold the scoob, resisted for a year, bought another one...
and this thread is still on....
You can't rush perfection Frayz... this thread/build is the difference between rushing mods and getting them right/perfect even if it takes time... things that seem over the top can often be the difference...
As an engine pervert and speedophile I love this thread...
keep up the good work- it's going to be a brute but also a very well respected car

Dont you lot ever read??? lol
My 2ltr is still assembled so i can mock up the turbo setup on it and test fit it in the car. Once im happy with everything i can send the pipework for ceramic coating etc and i can then build the new motor and spec my head machining to suit.
I wanted to mock up everything exhaust wise on the 2ltr so i know it all fits perfectly before it gets bolted to the new motor.
