Tiny update,
I didnt tell anyone about this as i didnt know how good it was going to be.
Basically with the new turbo setup im gonna have to run a large 4" inlet pipe with an RCM style inlet cone/trumpet and big 6" K&N filter.
Well the RCM one is a spun alloy trumpet, of which was nice but then i had another idea. Basically i found a guy that does specialist carbon fibre fabrications for alot of high performance cosworth applications.
I told him what i wanted and he agreed to make me a 6" to 4" vacuum infused carbon trumpt. I never knew if it was going to be any good or not.
The quality of his work is absolutely staggering, i never thought it would ever be this good. Im totally made up with it. Here it is, arrived this morning, now just gotta order a filter to fit

I take it youve seen how Mikes one is done?
Wouldnt need a MAF plate for yourseither, just a flange to bolt the trumpet to the inner wing.
Easy peasy mate

I haven't seen Mikes, but I have an idea of a v.large cone filling whatever space is left by the ABS area in later cars. Either directed through the floor panel poking at the front vents or nicely in front of the headlamp with the rubber strip removed from the bonnet for a direct air flow hit.

Was only thinking myself yesterday about lack of updates.
Put the fads away and get on with the build

I'll guess i'll just speed up the process by winning a copious amount of cash, making a new instant deliverey system from the US.
