Sorry, but IMHO its all bollocks.

The use of the word "******" should be no more, or no less offensive than the use of any of the other racial, sexual, religeous, or whatever defamatory terms.

If the recipient is not offended, then fine. If the recipent is offended then its not fine. Context should be all that matters.

The way to remove racism is to rise above it - on all sides. To stop feeling and acting persecuted.

The irony cracks me up. Different ethnic groups of all colours (rightly) want complete integration and equality into what may well have been a different culture, and yet they want special privileges too.

If anyone would like further clarification as to whether the 'N' word is indeed offensive or not I would urge you / them to put on a T-shirt with the word boldly printed on it. Pop along to Brixton, South London or better still closer to me in Tottenham, North London and wait for your feedback.

I think for those of you who should know better you already know the answer to this one. Be it in a different context or not the word is a pretty poor descriptive word and their are alternatives to use.

If you are seeking acceptance of this word by all means follow paragraph one!!

The same could be applied to many words, and many different locations.

There is something strange about a society where, for example, it is pretty much acceptable to draw reference to someone having had sexual relations with their own mother, but where it is obviously quite unnaceptable to use the word "******".

Notwithstanding that incest is illegal in the cilvilised world.

A laughable anaolgy perhaps, but that kind of proves the point.

That being the case then why is it so readily accepted in rap songs and generally used by black people? I mean if it is so offensive surely that applies to all who use it?
