Like to see a pic of the clamp in situ, was told it wouldn't (so never tried it) but the playseat clamp thingy would.
I'm stuck at work (offshore) due to fog at the moment but I'll get pics of the clamp and setup when I get home.

He means when racing. sure if you're going shopping or doing a 3 point turn but in reality you probably wouldn't go much past 90 degrees either way would you?

He said road car !

Besides, can't you limit the lock on these wheels ? I have the Logitech Momo which has 270° and its fine for racing, I think 90° might be a bit 'toight'

Sorry... I mean when you're racing. In even a road car. I know I wouldn't want to be sat there spinning the damn thing through 200 odd degrees of movement.

Well you wouldnt really have to spin it - 270° is only half a turn lock to lock

Cheers for the pic's, may have to use the clamp if the velcro gives up...Do prefer using the velcro as it's less cumbersome. Good to the option though

How much was your racing seat and where from??
I was in Game earlier and they had the full version of Forza 2 playing.I was VERY impressed and it certainly felt like it played better than the demo!!
They also had the Xbox wireless steering wheel on "This week only" at £74.99 (Normally £89.99) although when I bought mine a while ago I got them to pricematch Gamestation at £79.99 for the Game points!
Roll on Friday...

Nick, google playseats for places to buy. I even saw one on ebay for £189ish.

Gameplay have dispatched the wheel bundle. So if all goes well I should have forza tomorrow, cant wait

Well, it's nearly 3am lol and I've just measured up and I may JUST squeeze a Playseat into my office if I lose a section of desk (I've fancied something like this for ages but didn't want to have to set it up each time I use it etc etc)
I've found a company that have them in stock so it looks like an order will be placed in the morning...
Can any of you two guys (Dave or RB5) who have the Classic versions tell me the sizes (LxW) at the widest points as I see the dimensions are on the Playseat website but just wanna confirm?

Thanks in advance

They list 130cm x 50cm for the Evo series so I suppose the Classic series are pretty much the same??
