Got my Euros and Czech Kroner.
Insurance/driving licence/breakdown and medical papers all found
Check list seems to be getting ridiculously long
The Hoff and his deck chair and flask are nearly ready

Getting excited/scared/"what the heck have I let myself in for"/excited...
Car's ready now, took it out for a quick spin on Saturday and nothing fell off so I guess it's okay
Picking up the currency on Thursday.
Got the driving licence, MOT, insurance, breakdown, EHIC card, passport. Need to dig out the V5 from my big red box file. And photocopy everything.
Got the spare wheel, oil, brake pads, tools, helmet, satnav, Europe map, PMRs (need recharging), camera (must recharge it), phone (Euro Roaming in place), electrical adaptor plug.
What have I forgotten?
Need to sort out clothes, wash kit etc (the standard holiday stuff).

2 x 12in Subs & 1.3kW of Amps fitted last night Bullet cam remounted, although looks a bit knackered
New brakes, wheels & tyres on tonight and that's me mostly ready (I think!)
Notlong now Guys
Rog
p.s. Marv - I take offence at your padded cell comment - mine are perfectly comfortable
p.p.s. yeah - terrible news about Colin, his son & friends Here's my favourite clip of his unique driving style: YouTube - Colin Mcrae

Wow excitement is building, sleep is diminishing, so please roll on Sunday as I just want to get on the road.
Sunglasses are mandatory for when you are above the clouds, literally.
This I am sure will be a familiar sight again
I have just checked and All passes are currently open

Yeah - post VLN carnage sessions cancelled for the rest of the year
Well I've cracked my current discs and my replacement brake discs (test / development set) don't fit, but my AP 4-pots have arrived instead, so hopefully will have these fitted in time...

Tyres here we go:-
Im running Kumho KU15s 2mm left good ride on road, side wall softer than RE070 to be honest they are **** in the wet. On track I use RE070 which are awful on road as they tramline
Once KU15s are done will fit either T1Rs or the new Bridgestone S03, F1 would be my 3rd choice having had them before.
Did some research Road combined tests indicate that Bridgestone S03 and Pirelli Rosso are best (had the later great when new as they wear the wet grip drops significantly). Second best score was the T1R, Third Kumho KU31
For dry 1st Kumho KU15, 2nd Bridgestone S03, Third TIR & Kumho KU31.
For wet 1st TIR and S03, 2nd Kumho KU31 and 3rd F1 and Rosso.
Other outside choice is the Vres Ultrac range
Looking forward to the thumbs up matey

I just got some Toyo Proxes 4 for my Subaru, can't tell you what they are like yet as they still aren't fitted, but they are supposed to be better than the T1R and are marketed as a super high performance tyre. Paid £295 for 4 215/45/17 delivered but not fitted, bargain

Yeah I've seen those new Proxes 4, the tread pattern looks very good and with a much better shoulder than the T1R's, get those Marv, you can be our test-dummie

Mine have been down at my mechanics for a month now waiting for him to fit them to my spare wheels!!! If you don't sit on him to get things done.... every time I ring they "will be done tomorrow" and you know what happens to tomorrow, it never comes....

Stormy has just boarded the Speedferries and is on his way.
I'm off home now too , so if you need us call our moby's, the numbers are in the Route Books.
Please note that Speedferries has moved to the Hoverport, right at the 3rd roundabout off the M20.
See you all in Switzerland

Well the APs were all fitted up and looking bling, then the final bleed nipple decides to snap off, taking a bit of the caliper with it
