Got a set of F1 XL's going on tomorrow so just need to get them scrubbed in and I'm there

Well, given that I managed 3 x 10.01s in the 307, I reckon I should manage to beat Clarkson's time in the Jag
Motorsport: Raeder Motorsport V8-Star Jaguar Dirk Adorf
Ooops, sorry, wrong Jag
YouTube - TG's Jaguar S-TypeD on Nürburgring p.1
Off to pack now

The 'fast group' were the ones that had a lie in, leisurely breakfast and then out on the road
You're right tho, would have been good with Terry and Chris on board
Tyres are now on, tank is full and just got to pack
Wayhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay

We certainly are having a good time, don't ask Stormy about the Swiss police though :-). We are further afield, in Garda, Italy tonight, off to Austria tomorrow. Been down to Modena today (well I have, don't know what the rest did) to do factory and/or musuem tours of Lamborghini, Pagani, Ferrari and Ducati. Phew what a day out!!!

Thank you
Think we are all home safely.
Going to work this morning after getting home at 2:30 last night. Car looks very grubby after 2995 miles exactly.
On behalf off Mrk and I a big thanks to all who attended this mega driving challenge of 2007.
The weather, and other influences did there best to ruin the fun, glad to say it only made the trip a bigger challenge. For all those who provided feedback
we are grateful.
So once again thanks to all who made the EB07 so special. It was a privilage to spend time with so many like minded individuals.
Off to Denmark today, glad I dont need to go to Switzerland ;-)
P.S. a few asked if we could get some Trackmasters T shirts made up with Euro Blast 07 on. Happy to look into making some up, if you are interested.
Here is to the Euro Combo 08 and ???Blast 09 watch this space.

well - we had a cracking time :-)
A big thank you to MRK and Stormy is in order! 3000ish miles and lots of laughs. Some rain, some snow and some sunshine too! Just to show that when the sun did shine, it shone brightly, here's a shot of Roger holding court at the 'Ring on Sunday morning, reminding Paul and Marv that a diesel Jag can scoot round the track quicker than a Scooby with a flat tyre
CW42 - you'd have had a ball - we missed you!
Have a fun week.....

Merci, danke & thanks!!
Mrk/Stormy - nice one guys
You couldn't control the weather ( so I'll not hold that against you ) but really enjoyed the tour, great roads and some great venues.
Good to see so many cars doing the same thing, from a Vectra with a chav spoiler to a nice silver Seat, oh and the two hire cars - one from Hertz the other by Subaru.
Rog - you've changed my whole view on Jags and diesels -thanks for the 3 laps
Top people, good laugh - so when's the next one?

Well, here's another one who got home safe and in one piece at 0340 ish yesterday. What a fantastic experience, despite the attempts of the weather, the Swiss border guards, and Italians being in the wrong place when I'm reversing... still, that's what bumpers are for
Big thanks to Stomy and Mark for organising, to Mark (again) for that flying lap as a passenger, to Lindsay for taking me through my first 'Ring lap, and to Rog for giving me all those pointers on my second lap , to Keith for putting up with sharing with me for a week, and to everyone else (too many to list) for helping make the whole trip one huge laugh.
All I have to do now is clean the car... and get back to reality (w**k)
I'm interested in a t-shirt as well.

Well, WOW, WOOOW WHHOOAAA what a trip!! I have to say the Euro Blast is supposed to be a driving challenge for you and the car, but by’eck that was certainly something more………………………
It sure turned out to be one great adventure. We had every weather condition possible; the trip featured just about every type of road; a vastly differing collection of performance cars and there related noises; and importantly a group of very diverse people from assorted backgrounds with one common goal to enjoy their cars to the max and share a beer over a meal with everyone else at the end of each day, with the days tales the main topic and the root of such laughter.
Thank you for the kind words it is all very much appreciated by Stormy & I, but the thanks really should go to each and every one of you all for making the trip the success, providing the hilarity and the making the EB07 the ‘highlight’ it turned out to be. Roll on the next one.
Lindsay and Paul – Thank you for the photo’s. I keep looking at the snow covered ones with disbelief. While on the trip seeing snow in September as you drive up and down passes is plain surreal and so exciting especially when you are on semi-slicks, LoL. Who has the one with us having a snow ball fight at 2236m on Passo Giau?
TonyG – You are welcome. You sure had a baptism of fire for your first ever lap with me, LoL! I am just glad to see that I didn’t scare you off the Rollercoaster ride the Ring is.
P1doc – I look forward to it but first I need to sleep as I am exhausted from this trip :-zzzZZZ

We made it home about 0230, and two days later I am still knackered!! Just uploading the video of the Merc howling round the Ring to you tube, thanks to Chris being brave enough to come round with me and remembering to pull out his phone to video it, 9:15 from pits to gantry isn't bad for a lardy old barge!! Must get round to cleaning the car sometime soon, a white car has turned black. And thanks Paul for not uploading a picture of the Merc with it's bonnet up, it didn't fail (completely) once on the whole trip, but most pics seemed to be taken giving that impression

After nearly three days I am only now starting to feel human again. I don’t think I have had the post holiday blues quite this bad before, and I have soo much. I have been feeling that I am suffering from total depression . How about everyone else?? You can't have that much fun without the blues Roger help us…………………….
I must say a BIG Thank You to Stuart Knight for letting me go as a hostage in his and his brothers Ring Taxi lap. It was Excellent fun and also strangely informative with some tips on a few new lines to try and a little history on the circuit itself. It’s a must do for anyone
Stu, nice photo’s but that second shot looks like Chris is trimming his noise hair on the way round.

Never much fun going back to work after a holiday, especially one as good as that. Not waiting another 2 years this time Mrk so what next?
Rog - you saying my driving is slightly out of focus and jumpy??
I'm used to handling a camera in much rougher conditions
